Highly recommend Umbrella. From the initial visit thru the install the guys were professional, quick and efficient. I got multiple areas done. Whole job took half a day. The crew cleaned up nicely. I was provided drone footage and photos before, during and after to job was completed. Fat roof maintenance and 2 front slate roof replacements. Customer Service is top tier. Shout out to Melvin who was the job Foreman. He gave me a lot of information on the process, staying in contact thru out the installation. Made himself available for questions thru out.

They recently did our siding for the house and we enjoyed working with them very much! Communication and work ethics were 5/5. Umbrella Roofing recently replaced my parents roof, and they were fantastic from start to finish. During the consultation, they explained the process in detail, walked me through the materials, and even showed proof of their license and insurance. I also got the sense they really value their workers, which says a lot about a company. On installation day, the crew showed up early, got right to work, and finished everything by around 3 p.m. They paid close attention to detail, cleaned up completely, and took all their trash with them. Communication was great the entire time, and they even sent before-and-after photos so I could see the transformation. Ed (the owner) stopped by toward the end of the job to make sure we were happy with everything. Professional, knowledgeable, and efficient I would definitely would recommend.

We had a tear-off (4-layers) and a new torch down flat roof installed in two days (Thursday and Friday) last week. The dumpster was removed by the next day. The crew were pleasant and efficient with good leadership. I offer high praise and recommend Umbrella Roof without hesitation.

If I could give Umbrella Roofing 10 stars, I absolutely would! We contacted Umbrella Roofing after enduring over four months of chaos caused by a leaking roof deck directly above our kitchen. Our ordeal began in March 2025, when we hired a different roofing contractornot affiliated with Umbrella Roofingwhom we thought could quickly address the issue. Unfortunately, that decision turned into a nightmare. The workmanship from the previous company was extremely poor and ultimately made the leak worse. Despite returning four times, they only performed temporary patch jobs, and we were forced to request a full refund. During that time, our kitchen was left exposed and unusablecabinets were removed, and the ceiling and walls had to be opened up for drying. We lived in constant fear that each rainstorm would cause more damage. Thats when we found Umbrella Roofing. I was incredibly hesitant at first, still shaken by our last experience. But from the very first phone call with Jessica, I felt a difference. Mike came out to assess the property and provide an estimate, and then Melvin, our project manager, led the project with care and diligence. Rocky ensured every detail of the work was executed to perfection. Communication was stellar at every stage. They were incredibly thoroughconducting multiple water tests to ensure the problem was fully resolved, not just temporarily patched. They also educated us along the way, showing photos and videos so we could truly understand the scope and solution. This was not an easy job. The Umbrella Roofing team uncovered several points of water entry beyond just the roof, but they remained persistent, detail-oriented, and never rushed the process. Their work included: Full deck disassembly and rebuild Installation of a brand-new EPDM roof Deck reassembly Siding replacement Storm door installation Window caulking ...and likely more, all to ensure our home was finally protected. I am forever grateful to Umbrella Roofing for restoring our home and peace of mind. I highly recommend this team and will continue to use their services in the future.

I have used Umbrella several times and each time the prices were reasonable and the work was excellent. The whole team is very professional, knowledgeable and so warm and friendly that you feel like part of the Umbrella family. My most recent project was roof/vinyl siding installation. Ed, Melvin, Scott and the others were a pleasure to work with, but I want to give a special thanks to Ed for taking the time to walk me through the whole process and answering all of my questions. I casually mentioned to Ed that I was hoping to have the siding done by Memorial Day, not thinking it would happen, but because Ed Is next level, he worked all day on the fri before the holiday to get it done and my house looks amazing! We had a great experience with Umbrella Roofing. Rocky and team worked on our 100-year-old slate roof with the level of care and craftsmanship we were hoping for. They replaced damaged slate, installed new bathroom fan vents, and refinished our flat roof all while preserving the original look of the house. They were incredibly easy to work with: responsive, on time, professional, and very tidy throughout the project. Were already planning to have them back for gutter replacements. Highly recommend if youre looking for quality work and a team that understands older homes.

Umbrella Roof did the roofing and siding on our new house and we are very pleased. We were impressed from the beginning with their office staff who were super friendly and accommodating and had the sales rep Ed meet us on the weekend when were off work. He went over everything and I learned more about roofing than I ever really thought I could possibly know but I am so glad I did! The install was also clear and I had a supervisor (Melvin) going over details with me the entire time and showing me photos and went over everything and made sure it was all cleaned up. Really impressed and I would highly recommend them!

- After strong winds a couple weeks ago flashing had blown off of our roof. We left a voicemail on a Saturday and received a call first thing Monday morning. I met with two 5 star rated Google background-checked companys. I chose Umbrella because the salesperson / manager spent a good half hour discussing the problems I was having on my roof. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable which is important to me when I am hiring someone They promptly sent me a detailed contract. The work and workers were top notch professionals and it was a perfect job of residing the rear second floor of my house. I'm extremely satisfied with the work and the ease of communicating with the main office. I definitely would use them again for any roofing or siding needs I have renovated three residences from top to bottom so I know all about contractors and how to find a good one.

Umbrella Roofing is the poster business for customer service. Ed provided a thorough and comprehensive review of the issues with our roof including some root causes of the issues. He provided pictures and took the time to give explanations and education of basic roof installation. Although his estimate for the repairs was more than another estimate, the repairs were more comprehensive to resolve the immediate issues and position us to have the roof last. Umbrella Roofing also set us up to have the regular maintenance done to ensure the roof lasts and meets the performance expectations. Our roof was supposed to be a brand new roof so we did not except to have leaks or have a major repair less than 2 years after having the new roof was installed. Umbrella's entire team is great! Jessica in the front office actually answers the phone and returns phone calls. If there are questions she gets answers. The Project Manager Melvin is also great at communicating with customers and making sure the job gets done and done right. The installation team was efficient and did great work. Of course Ed came to ensure everything was completed and completed correctly in the scope of work. He showed pictures of the completed work. The great thing about Umbrella Roofing is they provide a cost estimate that documents all the work they will perform and answer any and all questions. You also get before and after pictures as well as pictures of the work as it was being done. I highly recommend Umbrella Roofing without reservation! Their prices are very reasonable and their customer service is awesome!

Wow this company is hands down the best! We own an old Victorian in Germantown. Since we moved in five years ago. We have played roofers roulette. This early winter we developed a leak in the third floor roof. Also we had another three companies over the years come out and bandaid the problem. Umbrella came out. Did what they said the would do and fixed it and went above and beyond to protect our house. No games. No empty promises. Good old fashioned caring and quality. Since this repair they have also fixed gutters ect. I sleep better during rain and storms knowing we choose Umbrella!

I hired Umbrella roofing to replace a seal around my sewer vent and put some shingles back in place before we listed our house for sale. It was a small job, but Julian made it a priority and got it done in time for our first showing.
